Julia McKenzie Munemo brings two decades of experience working as a writer and editor to her role as Interim Director of the Writing Center at Williams. She also teaches a Winter Study course, The Personal is Political: A Narrative Nonfiction Workshop. Her first book, The Book Keeper: A Memoir of Race, Love, and Legacy, was published in 2020.
She is working remotely for the 2020-2021 academic year, and is available to meet with students about any aspect of the writing process, writing for college classes, thesis writing, or writing across academic disciplines.
